Role Overview:

As an Apprentice in the Quality Engineering Team (PSE), you will contribute to our evolving XDR technology, which offers a unified approach to detecting and responding to cyber threats. Trellix, a leading XDR provider, delivers comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to protect against various threat vectors. Since the merger of McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, we have built a creative and collaborative environment, earning the US “Great Place to Work” certification.

Role: Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance cybersecurity products and solutions as part of Trellix’s XDR strategy.
Design new features, troubleshoot customer issues, and contribute to product development.
Utilize automation frameworks to validate product capabilities for deployment in critical environments.
Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in widely used software.
Adhere to software development lifecycle practices to ensure high-quality products.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Golang, or Python.
Strong understanding of Data Structures and Database concepts.
Knowledge of Network Protocols and Operating Systems.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Cloud technologies, Cyber Security, or Machine Learning is a plus.
