Role Overview:
As an Apprentice in the Quality Engineering Team (PSE), you will contribute to our evolving XDR technology, which offers a unified approach to detecting and responding to cyber threats. Trellix, a leading XDR provider, delivers comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to protect against various threat vectors. Since the merger of McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, we have built a creative and collaborative environment, earning the US “Great Place to Work” certification.
Role: Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance cybersecurity products and solutions as part of Trellix’s XDR strategy.
- Design new features, troubleshoot customer issues, and contribute to product development.
- Utilize automation frameworks to validate product capabilities for deployment in critical environments.
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in widely used software.
- Adhere to software development lifecycle practices to ensure high-quality products.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Golang, or Python.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Database concepts.
- Knowledge of Network Protocols and Operating Systems.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Cloud technologies, Cyber Security, or Machine Learning is a plus.
