Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the position of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) and Rajbhasha Service at the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Candidates can apply exclusively online through the NABARD website at www.nabard.org from 27 July 2024 to 15 August 2024. NABARD, the apex organization for agricultural and rural development in India, is fully owned by the Government of India and is an equal opportunity employer.

Emoluments and Service Conditions

(a) Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will start with a basic pay of Rs. 44,500/- per month in the scale of Rs. 44,500 – 2,500 (4) – 54,500 – 2,850 (7) – 74,450 – EB – 2,850 (4) – 85,850 – 3,300 (1) – 89,150 (17 years) applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per current rules. The initial gross monthly emoluments are approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-.

(b) Perquisites:

  • Accommodation: Bank’s accommodation (subject to availability).
  • Reimbursement: Expenses for vehicle maintenance for official purposes, newspaper, internet, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for residence furnishing, etc. as per eligibility.
  • Medical: Free dispensary facility and reimbursement for OPD treatment/hospitalization as per eligibility.
  • Other Benefits: Interest-free festival advance, Leave Travel Concession, loans and advances at concessional rates for housing, car, children’s education, consumer articles, personal computer, etc.

(c) Pension Scheme:

Candidates selected will be governed by the defined contribution to the New Pension Scheme (NPS) in addition to benefits like Gratuity and Group Term Insurance Plan.

(d) Residential Quarters:

Limited residential quarters are available at certain centers. Facilities for securing residential accommodation on lease exist at all centers.

(e) Probation:

Initial appointment will be on probation for two years, extendable at the Bank’s discretion for up to one more year.

(f) Transfers:

All candidates selected are liable to be posted and transferred anywhere in India.

How to Apply:

Eligible applicants must apply online through the website www.nabard.org. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The application form must be filled in English only, with the option to use Hindi for the Online/Main Examination/Interview.

Important Points to Note Before Registration:

  1. Document Scanning:
  • Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)
  • Signature (with black ink)
  • Left Thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
  • Handwritten declaration (on white paper with black ink) stating:
    “I, [Name of the candidate], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
  • All scanned documents must adhere to the required specifications as mentioned in the advertisement.
  1. Signature:
  • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted.
  • Properly scanned left thumb impression (if a candidate does not have a left thumb, the right thumb can be used).
  1. Handwritten Declaration:
  • Must be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only.
  • Visually impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text typed and put their left hand thumb impression below the typed declaration.
  1. Online Payment:
  • Keep necessary details/documents ready for online payment of the application fee/intimation charges.
  1. Email ID and Mobile Number:
  • Must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, which should be kept active until the completion of the recruitment process.

  • Photograph and signature ensuring they adhere to required specifications.
  • Valid personal email ID and mobile number.
  1. Biometric Verification:
  • Be prepared for biometric verification of identity at the Exam Centre from the Main Examination onwards.

Application Procedure:

  • Visit the Bank’s website www.nabard.org/career and click “APPLY ONLINE” to open a new screen.
  • To register, choose “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email ID. The system will generate and display a Provisional Registration Number and Password. Note them down. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration Number and Password will be sent to the given email ID and mobile number.
  • If unable to complete the form in one go, save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT.”
  • Verify details before final submission using the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility.
  • Carefully fill and verify the online application details, as no changes will be possible after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
  • Ensure the name and other details match those in Certificates/Mark sheets and valid ID Proofs brought for the examination.
  • Validate your details, save your application, and upload Photo & Signature as per specifications.
  • Fill other application details.
  • Preview the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
  • Make modifications if necessary, then click ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ only after ensuring correctness.
  • Proceed for payment and submit.
