Job Summary:
The role of Central Operations Support Executive is a critical position within the IN External Fulfillment team at Amazon, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of sellers through remote support. As a Central Operations Support Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for sellers, ensuring they receive timely and effective assistance with their daily operations. This includes monitoring their performance metrics, identifying any issues that may arise, and promptly addressing them through the appropriate channels. Your ability to analyze data and identify patterns or disruptions will be crucial in maintaining operational continuity and ensuring that sellers can meet their targets and deliver excellent customer service.

This includes providing guidance on best practices, helping sellers navigate new processes, and ensuring that they adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that have been established. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be critical in ensuring that sellers understand and follow these guidelines.
In addition to these responsibilities, the role involves a significant amount of data analysis. You will be expected to analyze various data points, identify trends, and propose new features and processes that can improve the seller experience. This could involve anything from optimizing existing processes to developing entirely new ones. Given the dynamic nature of Amazon’s operations, the Central Operations Support Executive must be prepared to work in shifts, including weekends. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Remote Monitoring and Support:
- Efficiently monitor the functioning of assigned sites by making outbound calls, sending emails, and coordinating with field executives.
- Ensure that sellers receive timely assistance with their daily operations by identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between field executives/sellers and various internal and external agencies to facilitate the efficient and timely execution of operations.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aligned and working towards the same goals.
- Training and Compliance:
- Train and direct sellers on the execution and adherence to Amazon’s norms and practices.
- Provide guidance on best practices and ensure that sellers understand and follow established SOPs.
- Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and disruptions.
- Propose and implement new features and processes to improve the seller experience and drive operational excellence.
- Availability:
- Be willing to work on weekends and in shifts to ensure that support is available whenever it is needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL, which will be beneficial in managing and analyzing large datasets to support decision-making processes.
