Overview:
Vestas Power Solutions, the R&D arm of Vestas, focuses on innovation, development, and continuous improvement to create products and technologies that reduce energy costs and deliver maximum value to our customers and Vestas. Within this unit, the Control Hardware Module department designs and develops Low Voltage control panels and control systems for various sections of wind turbines.

If you are inspired by developing software solutions and enjoy the challenge of fully owning parts of the functionality for Vestas’s wind turbines, from development to life-cycle management, you may be the candidate we seek.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering solutions for the Turbine Control Software product portfolio and support its expansion and the creation of new products.
- Address field-reported issues and conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving for operational turbines.
- Support the global service technical team in maintaining the turbine fleet.
- Assist the sales organization by addressing new solution requirements and technology development.
- Balance solutions to meet various specific requirements.
- Develop solutions for personal systems in turbines, collaborating closely with system leads.
- Verify solutions at all levels, including software tests (in-house) and field verification.
- Document and present your work precisely to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented & State-based software design in real-time embedded systems and machine control.
- Experience in C++ development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python & SQL.
- Experience with Control systems using MATLAB Simulink (non-mandatory).
- Understanding of Continuous Integration solutions with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite.
- Educational Qualification: B. Tech / B.E / MTech / ME – CSE, ECE, EEE.
