Role and Responsibilities:
The Data & AI division at India Software Labs is seeking passionate software developers. You’ll contribute to various cutting-edge products like WatsonX, Cloud Pak for Data, DB2, OpenPages, and more. As a software developer at IBM, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating, coding, and testing solutions that power industries worldwide – from seamless travel to secure financial transactions. You’ll work with industry-leading tools and collaborate with some of the best minds in the field to develop solutions that drive real impact.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining database features for products and services in a secure cloud environment. You will also explore new technologies to enhance service capabilities and share your expertise through documentation and mentoring.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C, C++, Go, or Scala.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with software design, development, and testing best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL databases (Db2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with shell scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby).
- Graduating in 2025.
